The shower In our room wasn't really that good
Jesmond is great so vibrant and buzing and handy to get in and out of the city centre.
I raised a complaint when I checked out on Saturday morning. I was told the manager would call within an hour. It is now almost Tueday lunchtime and I m still waiting to hear. The hotel wsa incredibly noisy throughout Friday night. This started at 23.30pm and continued to almost 6 o'clock. It sounded like furniture was being thrown about and smashed. Things were very rowdy and disruptive. As a soul traveller this was a little bit unnerving. There were older clients at brekfast I imagine they hated it. I look forward to hearing from the Cairns hotel.
Plenty of free parking spaces for guests
Hotel room wasn't the cleanest cracks in wall wires showing quite old Fashioned furniture stains on carpet sink tap broken hairs on bathroom Floor the continental breakfast was of a minimum choice
I liked nothing from cairns hotel it was disgusting and the staff so were so ignorant I would advise others not to step foot in the place!! you'D need to wipe your feet coming out of the place never mind going in!!!
Location....thats about all that is going for it
Rooms are roasting hot and you cannot cool them!! Breakfast is poor ....had to continually ask for more milk, juice, bread etc. Croissants were like bullets and no tea/coffee. Cooked breakfast....yeah no chance! Hotel is 'tired' - for the cost of a twin room it needs smartening up and sorting out.
The hotel has good location, close to the city centre and loads of pubs and restaurants around which provide high range of selection to have lunch/dinner or simply to go out. It is value for money. Our room was nice and clean and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room was probably the best room they had.
The bathroom had a nasty smell emitting from it when we got in. The bathroom door also wouldn't close. Walls were too thin so I was kept up all night from drunks going in and out of their room. Also could hear them puking.
The hotel was great I've stayed twice now while visiting the freeman hospital it's close by and cheap the staff are friendly and helpful the breakfast in the hotel is lovely and the food in the bar next door is lovely too with nice atmosphere
Couldn't fault it
